Mounting Methods

Stud installation

Stud Installation

Cast metal letters have threaded stud bosses for stud insertion. Flat cut metalletters have tapped holes for stud insertion or are stud welded.
Flush mount

Flush Mounting

Studs are set in adhesive cement. There is no space between the letter and the surface.
Projected Jam Nut Mounting

Projected Jamb Nut Mounting

Studs are set in adhesive cement. Stainless steel jamb nuts are inserted between the letter and the mounting surface.
Projected spacer mounting

Studs are set in adhesive cement. Pre-cut spacers are inserted between the letter and the mounting surface.
Corrugated Mounting

Studs are set using jam nut on front and back of corrugation.
Flat Metal Wall Mounting

Where you have access to the rear of the wall, washers and nuts are used on both sides of it.

Rail and Bottom Mounting Options

Double Rail Installation

Double Rail Installation

Two rows of rails secured to back of letter with stainless steel screws. Available on letters 4" to 24" high. Maximum single piece length is 8 feet.
Bottom Rail Installation

Bottom Rail Installation

Letters are drilled and tapped from the bottom with stainless steel screws going through aluminum rails. Available on letters 4" to 24" high; 3/8" or thicker. Aluminum letters only. Letters with round bottoms (i.e. O, S, G etc.) will have a flattened base to received studs. Exterior applications greater than 8" letters require tiebacks.
Bottom Stud Installation

Bottom Stud Installation

Letters drilled and tapped from the bottom. Letters with round bottoms (i.e. O, S, G etc.) will have a flattened base to received studs. Exterior applications greater than 8" letters require tiebacks. Customer will provide own bar or channel for mounting. Bear in mind, installing any metal letters to metal rails of other composition can create galvanic corrosion at stud locations.
